I heard that the Gold Cup Bowling Centers in Warner Robins GA is a tight place to go bowling with your friends; a place to have fun. I'm gonna come there to the bowling alley soon.

Today me and family and a host of people went to bowl and as we pulled up in the parking lot so did a lot of other customers only to found out they were not open! I think that's ridiculous with it being a holiday and in a military town the bowling alley should be open 24 hours....Warner Robins Ga

Denied Service at the concession stand because I was wearing Donald Trump shirt. Open for comments.

They put down oil every day, then they let the public bowl on the same lanes that the leagues are going to be bowling on when there are plenty of other lanes they could use. The management has no respect for the league bowlers who spend a lot of money there. Word is that the owners say that they don't even like league bowlers because they don't make any money off of them. I wonder who is keeping the place open? The few non-league bowlers who can afford bowling as a hobby? There are always rumors going around locally that someone new is going to open some lanes to compete with these and most of the league bowlers are hoping it's true so we can bowl at an establishment that appreciates the people who are spending $60 or more a week bowling two or three leagues. It's like this place hates league bowlers!

Our experience with Gold Cup Bowling was a large disappointment. We had a party for two hours with two lanes. One lane kept giving us problems so we switched to another lane. We had to switch to yet another lane because that one also had numerous problems. The worst part of our experience was with the man at the counter named "Leon". I believe someone said he was the shift manager. He was rude and unconcerned. He needs customer service training or get another job. He was rude to three of my family members, all adults, not kids. The ally was understaffed. (We were there on a Sunday afternoon.) The food took a long time coming out but we were patient. There was one employee, Muamer (?), that was running himself to death trying to take food out while assisting people with problems they were having. We finally did see other personnel come in and that did help things. We have always considered this a family place but with people like Leon that won't happen!

Absolutely horrible management. Will not provide fresh oil for leagues yet charges north of $12 for lineage each night. Where does the lineage money go? Robins AFB chages less than $8 a night for league and always provide a fresh shot. Tom Shimek is a disgrace to bowling and management, I dont care how long he has been in the industry. Time to put him out to pasture.

My family and I visited this place and the service was so terrible that we did not stay to bowl. When we arrived, the cashier was outside smoking and did not come inside as we entered the building. When we went to look for someone else to assist us we were told that she was on her break and she would help us when she was done smoking. I asked for the manager and told him what he happened. He chuckled and said he would take care of it. At that point we decided that we would not spend any of our money in that establishment. We have not and will not return.

Gold Cup Bowling Center advertises that it has its own website at They do not have anything to do with any OTHER website CLAIMING to be theirs. This is a bogus website. Just call Gold Cup and they'll tell you. **NOTE** does not claim to be a website for any bowling center. It is simply a listing of bowling centers across the USA. B2U is not affiliated with any bowling center, and since we've been around for more than a decade, we're certainly not bogus. B2U Staff :)

There is more light in the bathroom than on the lanes. Lanes are so dark you can't see the marks. Put some lights up in the black ceiling.

place is horrible. way to expensive.

My husband and I took our 2 kids today to bowl at Goldcup in Warner Robins. Despite all the negative comments we decided to try it anyway. Yes it was pricey, but I don't think you are gonna find it cheaper anywhere else, atleast not by much. The staff was great. The place was clean and kept up even the bathrooms were clean! I would certainly recommend this place to friends and I will certainly be going back!

i went for the first time the other night. the cashier was so rude and snatched my credit card out of my hand. when we wanted to bowl another game, the were horrible about setting back up. i've never been treated so badly by a business. i will NOT be going back.

This place is horrible. Over priced. I dont like going there anymore. There are always drunk people bowling and bothering me, and the staff doesnt do a thing about it.

Very nice building... WAY over priced! We'd love to have this as a family outing every week, but I'm not paying their prices!

It's TOO expensive to bowl there. They give no respect. That's the sorriest bowling alley. Thats why I drive to Atlanta and bowl, Texas, Florida, and Alabama because they are way cheaper. I STRONGLY recommend that you do not attend this rude bowling alley. Both Gold Cups aren't good.

Comment Date: 6/28/2010 Name: WAAAAAY Overpriced!!!
Given that the community of Warner Robins mostly caters to the military with courtesy and discounts, I would STRONGLY recommend just bowling on base. The price for shoes and two games of bowling for four people (two adults and two kids) was OVER $50.00!! Besides that, the personnel were kind to us and the place appeared to be relatively sanitary.

I had a fun not to expensive experiance here. its relatively large and they actually have there own party rooms, unlike many other alleys ive been to.

Some of the employees at this facility are very racists. The customer service is awful and one of the young female employees even made my little boy cry by refusing to let him use the rails, the employee told him that, "he was too big for the rails." He was only eight years old. He cried and since then he has not liked to go bowling. No business should make a child feel bad about himself. I give this alley two thumbs down!

We had a fabulous time at our son's 11th birthday party! Love it!

Great place to go on your lunch break. They offer a nice lunch deal where you can pick one of six items from their menu, a drink, and bowl two games for a good price. The pro shop staff is very knowledgeable and I'm considering using them in the future.

The center looks great, total upgrade compared to the old one. The lanes are nice, a bit pricey but other than that its nice. I have to agree about the rent-a-cop, i know he is just doing his job.

Comment Date: 9/14/2007 Name: Tim Kraus
It is a bowling alley.

Since the rebuild the center looks great and the style creates a fun atmosphere. Good food and a clean place. Staff behind counter are friendly and cooperative, however parking lot rent-a-cop drives away business.

Anyone who knows anything about bowling knows that for 40 years now it has been an insult to say Bowling Alley. It is a bowling Center. should know better. It leads me to believe you are not legitimate bowling business people. (B2U - Yes Anonymous! You are absolutely correct about using the word "centers". That's why ALL content that is produced by uses the word centers. We do however have sponsors who want to use that other word. We do not control the content that sponsors use. They are the ones paying the bills that we incure to review the 3 to 5 hundred messages that we receive PER DAY. We are very sorry if you were confused about this and hope you will continue visiting our site and participating with your comments.)

I absolutely LOVE this bowling center. The employees are great and the lanes are excellent. The pizza made from scratch is excellent and it is very, very clean. Our Lane Attendant, Jennifer was wonderful and so was Brenda.

My bowl maybe 2 to 3 times a week. I love the new bowling center. It is great. I few times we have had to call for ball return but other than that everything is great.

Comment Date: 1/17/2006 Name: Mark
This center was just completely rebuilt from the ground up. It is a very nice place now and if they keep a good staff on board to help keep it nice I think everything will be good. Keep up the good work.
