I'm to understand that scores at the Jax were great this past bowling season (not a member), better than other private clubs in the area. Chuck lost his mother and his wife this year, I'm told his father is not also not well. To let a man go when his productivity at work dips after losing his mother and wife within months of one another does not look anything but cruel. That said, lets see what happens at the Naz Jax this season without Chuck. It could very well be another good scoring year. Time will tell. |

its because of Chuck we lost alot of bowlers. he did not do his job. anyone can sit back there watching tv & say they did their job. we have someone now who is really giving his "all". |

Chuck Kern needs to stay here. The man has been through so much and tries his best to keep the place running. The equipment is old, the lane oilier is 25-30 years old. If you want to average 240 and be an all star, go bowl in a public center. How about you spend some money for Chuck and get new equipment and what is needed to fix up the place instead of blaming him for everything. When the members of the club do not even support the bowling center than why even have bowling there. Stop blaming and start doing more for the bowling. Chuck Kern must stay! |

Hey Michelle, is the ring you're looking for a wedding ring? If so, then I might be tempted to give you one if you beat me...or if you put up a good fight and you're pretty |

I've been drinking here for years without stepping foot on the bowling lanes. But once I ran low on my beer fund so I moved on to bowling. I once took on Chuck Kern in Atlantic City in 97' and I beat him in the 4th squad of the individual event. I still haven't seen him at the Jacksonian when I've been there but I'd be happy to give him a rematch. This may have been the "House that Chuck Kern Built" But it will be going through some renovations by Andrew Fuls. |

Terry Miklas owns this place. He is king of the lanes, but it's still the house that Chuck Kern built.
Long Live Chuck Kern!
