I and my friends grew up at "The Lanes" as we called it.
Very sad to see them close.

Sorry to hear this center is closing, by far the best value for your money. Even with the aging machines and decor, it was always well kept, hats off to the staff and mechanics who kept this place alive for so many years. We are now faced with the elimination of our league that was one of the oldest in Pa. It's now a one horse town, and not many of want to switch rides. So much history in this 50 year center, and now it will be replaced with another Walgreen. Just what we all need is another chain drugstore making it tougher for the small mom and pops to survive. It'll be sad when they finally close. |
