When will Inferno Lanes open ? It's been July 2014, then September 2014, then December 2014. I was told they had a tournament scheduled for December but nothing. I had a group of bowlers lined up to start a league there last September but we had to join other leagues at Imperial (worst bowling alley around)and Sterling (one of the best around). We need another alley around here. Imperial doesn't fix their equipment, clean the carpets, clean up after kids bowl and really doesn't give the leagues what they pay less for at other places.

this is to the owners, thank you for taking this very big step. my children grew up bowling here and the still bowl! the both have upper280 averages. I do have a question have you found associates to work behind the lanes? my youngest son was trained by a Brunswick madter

Jane I stopped in because I bowled there for years. The owner has done an impressive job of remodeling and rebuilding the place. I'm going to try and get a seniors league set up when they open.

Who is the new owner? Does the new owner know anything about running a bowling alley? Are they cleaning up the place, fixing or putting in new alleys? Why should I bowl there? When are they opening?

More than three years after closing, Fountainview Lanes will soon be reopening under new ownership as "Inferno Alley".

Fountainview Lanes is a great place to take our family!! We always have a great time there. We moslty bowl on Dollar days, and the place gets packed pretty good for a large house! The guy behind the counter at night seems to realy enjoy his job, because he is always cracking jokes and making us feel welcome! Any nay sayers on here have some serious issues, or are just too cheap to pay a little extra for a beer. I have recomended them to all of our family and friends, and we hope to continue enjoying their business because we are always having a blast there!!

I bowl in two different leagues at FountainView. I used to bowl at Imperial Lanes, Sterling Lanes, SunnyBrook and KingsWood. They all either charge too much, don't care about you or have a take it or leave it attitude that is not present at FountainView. I've been bowling for over twenty five years and find the people, owners and staff, are considerate and helpful. They still have wooden lanes and are dressed properly. Every year they have a company come in and completely strip and refinish the lanes. Some of the comments here are not appropriate. The place has updated the monitors and a computer system to what I find is the best around. There are a number of senior leagues with frendly bowlers and they always make subs feel welcome. It's a large facility but maintains a one on one attitude. Yes, they have let some employees go but there have been some pretty good reasons.

This has to be the worst place to go if your looking for a night out. Rather your looking to bowl or enjoy a comedy show...nothing to brag about. The comedy club staff is horrible and rude. The bowling alley staff is just as bad. As a friend of a past employee, I agree to one of the postings below. They do not following the "State of Michigan" guidelines and are horrible employers. They sit in private offices and watch the cameras. Sad part about it all is their not watching for potential robberies or watching customers or anything of that nature. They are more concerned about watching their employees and finding out what their talking about. I would think that if you trust an employee enough to hire them, why would you have to watch and listen? I also know that they are not very accomodating....even to their returning leagues yearly. Which has slimmed down because of the poor owner attitudes.

Drink prices are too high, if you mention this they tell you to go somewhere else. $1 bowling is good for practice. Places looks like it did in 1985, no money spent at all to update. No flat screen tv's just a bunch of old bxes. I enjoy the comedy club, we have always had a good time there, and they have a very nice poker room that I noticed when I was there. Didnt even know they had a poker room, no advertisement about that.

the persons that has some insight on what s*cks, feel free to place blame, no bowling center s*cks, its only the stupid person thay shows what their true past time must be! they have great staff out front end staff and behind the sceens! you must be a former cbc employee how sad!!!!

In my personal insite I think this bowling alley is great. I have been to other places and have gotten alot worse in service and attitudes. The guy that we purchsed the games from was very friendly and our server jennifer was great! She has to be the first one Ive seen in there to actually do a awesome job at customer service. Beer prices are decent, But I do have to say that I have paid alot more money for our drinks at other places. So Im a bit disturbed to see that other people are downing a business because you were in an awfull mood, maybe you should think if you have an attitude first? If you cant go out to have a good time, and leave it at that..then you need to take the chip off your shoulder before leaving your house..

Fountainview Lanes allows parents to drink alcohol and smoke during youth leagues, in violation of USBC rules.

I think this is an average bowling center. Get in bowl, and get out. We always have a good time here.

Fountainview s*cks the owners hold nothing true to what they. They look down on everybody and if you go to them with suggestions they look at it like you just complaining
