Me and my son started going here for the "Big and Little" league 3 yrs ago and have found a great place for the whole family. The people that run it, mgrs, waitresses , and front desk are the nicest they can be. There is something here for everyone.

I normally wouldn't comment on a bowling center but after a year of frustration I can't keep silent any longer. AMF Lynnhaven use to be one of the best centers in the Tidewater area. I have nothing against anyone in the center in particular but I do not like how things get fixed when there is a problem. Here's what i'm talking about. For the last 6 months the shot has been extremely dry during second shift. It has been dry in the previous years but never so dry that I pull muscles in my back because I have to heave it to get it past the arrows before it takes a left turn. I have talked to the staff numerous times trying to get the problem resolved. After 6 months of frustration I have finally decided to take my business elsewere next year. I was told two days ago from the assisitant manager that they know they have a problem but they are going to wait until the season is over until they fix it. My question is why? You are going to lose alot of good bowlers next year. I know that for a fact.

The lane are well kept. I bought a ball there and the Pro Shop staff are very skilled. I have used the lanes only a few times and must have been there during specials, which I think are kept secret. I took my kids there one Saturday and was hit with prices I still can not believe. Over $5.00 a game that did not include shoes. I left and went to an alley on LittleCreek. We had just as much fun for 1/4th the price. If Lynnhaven would lower their price they would be a great bowling alley that I would attend all the time with my family.

I have bowl there for twice this year. Once was for the Youth State, and the other was Jr Gold. This is a real nice center and the service was great.

I have only bowled at Lynnhaven Lanes a few times this year but they seem to be one of the better kept up centers in the area lately. They keep it clean, the food is good and the lanes seem to be better maintained and they also have a pretty good pro shop with a good selection of balls and shoes as well as other accessories. The staff was friendly and helpful the few times I was there.

AMF Lynnhaven has been in business for almost 2 decades and will continue to do business for many years to come. They have replaced the center manager as well as the district manager, and the business is already looking better. AMF bowling centers have plenty of people-of-all-colors working for them. Its a fun place to bowl, the beer was cold and the food was what I expected and they have a place with bowling balls and shoes for sale too if you want your own. Not bad.

Oh my God. The servers and the bar people are so rude. Aaron and May both gave me attitudes. May gave me my food but she had her hand on my burger and I was disgusted. I didnt know who her boss was so I didnt say anything but I didnt eat any of it. Aaron looked and sounded like he was drunk he yelled at me when I was ordering my food. I asked him if anyone could bring it to my table and he yelled at me for that. What a great place.

As far as bowling is concerned, these lanes are the easiest to bowl on. The staff that work here are extremely rude. One time I went in to bowl and the two girls who were supposedly working were chatting up a storm and snarled at me as if I interrupted their conversation. Not very professional if you ask me. Larry who runs the proshop is an idiot. I asked a simple question about a bowling ball I had and he yelled at me for it. That's why I don't bowl here. The staff likes to rip people off as well. DO NOT BOWL HERE!

Finally, they are getting a manager in there that will manage. Never saw her, have seen him 2 times in the same day already. I bowl there 2 times a week and am awating the good changes already.

Great lanes...love the lane improvements. We go every Sunday. $1.75 a game 10am until noon! Great staff...May, Barbara, Susan, April, Amber... all great folks! Pro shop... lesson available!

This is a nice alley, very nice to look at and the lanes were taken care of. I had no problem with the staff, though they didn't go out of their way for me, they were still friendly. Now, the price...way too high for me. Almost 5 bucks a game...no thanks, I'll stick with the lanes on the bases.

Her name is Nita, not Tina.

The counter staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly!!! The establishment was extrememly clean and smoke free!! Tremendous improvements have been made to this alley. This is the way a bowling alley SHOULD BE!!!! Could not even smell the hint of any smoke! The management and staff took extra time to explain their policies and took time to help with booking a party. The daytime manager (Tina) IS DA BOMB!!!!

The management at this alley is terrible. All the improvements are great except that when you have lousy management and a rude counter staff it won't help. Only way to get anything done at this place is if you're one of the select group of friends of the manager. Every single time I've asked the counter people anything they've acted like I'm bothering there personal conversations.

It's been a while since I've been there but I remember how awesome it was so I think I'm coming this afternoon!!!!!!!!!

The lady who works during the weekdays is da bomb. She is nice and is always happy.

I think that the facility is nice but they don't take care of their lanes, they are very dry.The ventilation system is horrible - after bowling 4 or 5 games I smell like I smoked 5 packs of cigarettes.

I think Lynnhaven has come a long way. The shot is great and has many 300 games a month.

This center does a poor job of cleaning up. The carpet is dirty with food and paper products and the bathrooms appear to be cleaned about once a week. Most of the time there is no paper to dry hands or nor soap to wash them.

The lane conditions have been overly dry this fall season & no one seems to care.

I miss the old manager - can't think of his name but he was great - friendly, attentive & professional. Lanes have gone downhill in operation & scoring especially. I don't think anyone cares. Nice alley though.

This house spends a lot of money on "beautification" but virtually zero dollars on equipment - hence their lanes/equipment are ALWAYS broken or breaking down in the middle of a game. Additionally, they do a very poor job of keeping the place clean.
