Good Evening, Me,and My cousin was in the Bowling League at Hudson Lanes Bowling Alley. Me and him received a plaque which depicts a bowling ball curving and hitting two pins and those two pins are falling while the others are still standing. Then there is a tally sheet with the number 1 on it a sign of a STRIKE and the number 20. Then, it says, Burger King Bowling Club Hudson Lanes; I'm interested in starting My own Bowling league with two of My Fellow Students (Victoria Jones, Daisia and maybe others that are recruited and is interested as well) that is in My Basic Algebra Class on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Hudson County Community College. I was wondering if I can start my own Bowling League at Hudson Lanes Bowling Alley; The reason being is because I applied for jobs but was rejected maybe because my rèsume was not enticing and I NEED TO FIND A WAY TO GENERATE SOME TYPE OF INCOME SO THAT IN THE FUTURE I CAN SUPPLY FOR MY OWN FAMILY?

Bowling is dirty.it smells like a basement.have you seen the ceiling tiles when it rains. I wouldn't bring my family to bowl there. They have problems with the roof when it rains.Look at the front desk ceiling tiles omg Hope they fix it for the sake of the customers .Its hazardous

Sometimes space is not enough, i guess thats the only bowling option available near to those cities. Staff is really really rude, not just the short guy every one. Food is pricy and would think ten times to give napkins.

April, Hudson is the county!! Bayonne, Jersey City, Hoboken, Union City, West New york and about 7 more. Look it up before making such a stupid Comment. Anyways, its a great place to have some fun with friends and family.

This is the place to bowl hands down, the staff is very friendly and they let you get to lanes, the place is well keep, Bowling at Hudson Lanes is a treat, I love this place, when I bowl here I never want to leave... keep up the great work...

Yes the shot is tough but challenging. At least theyre not afraid to oil the lanes. The lanes are synthetic. Balls get stuck A LOT!! And the computer scoring is WAY out of date (like Hy-way bowl). The bathroom is very hard to find for first time- hidden along lane 1. There are 60 lanes. 1-32 on one side, 33-60 on other. Staff is fine. IT certainly runs circles around Hy-way bowl which is a dump (thats common sense on a roll) and I definitely recommend Hudson lanes to league bowlers fixin to ditch Hy-way. To quote "I'm outta there" who posted under Hy-way bowl: "Love a tough shot (hudson) but hate a bad shot(hy-way)."

Comment Date: 11/24/2010 Name: Henry

Everything is perfect except for the amount of bowling balls, they really need more bowling balls because they be taken and I am always stuck with the wrong sizes and then I look like I s*ck when I really don't

It is crappy. The food is overpriced but you are not allowed to bring your own food inside. The young girl who works at the food concession stand is beyond rude. She should NOT be allowed to work with humans.

hudson bowling alley customer service is the worst except for the older women. The young girl extremely rude.

I have to say that this bowling alley is family oriented and noone can beat their prices. It was worth driving from New York City and Bowl at H.B.L. I recomend this place for those who want to have a great time around great staff and great clientel. Thank You.

I recently went to bowl 6 games here after an local radio personalty for the tri-state area that I bowl with said the lanes were challenging. He was right, the lanes are very oily, and I had to lower my speed to get the back end to react properly. Many, many lanes are available, with a warm ambiance, and a decent price. The scoring equipment is out dated, but working properly, and the staff is on point, kind, and helpful. If you want to become a good bowler, put this place on your list for other houses to try. I am Striker."Shut up and bowl"

Prices are reasonable. Toughest shot by far around. Nice atoposhere with a decent proshop. Buying balls there is ok for spare shooting only. However there is a good selection of Bowling shoes to buy. Food is ok. Bar there is very good but one thing please don't put on Net and Knicks games on tv. Both teams are terrible and unwatchable.

I went here last Friday night with 2 friends. THE BEST TIME BOWLING I HAVE EVER HAD!! Lanes were relatively empty, price was VERY CHEAP ($10 for 3 games, plus medium beverage). No "disco bowling" with loud music. Very old world. Snack bar had the best onion rings I have ever had -- $3.50 for large portion!! Everyone was very nice and laid back. I'm going back in a couple of weeks.

its a great place to hit up on a wed night 10 for 4 games and shoes and a free drink lol the only thing is u have to wait like 10 mins for ur lanes but its worth it for 10 bucks

Comment Date: 3/5/2008 Name: Jon
Too many damn leagues... usually have to wait for a damn lane... not a family friendly environment because of drunk and thuggish idiots... it seems like everytime I go there, I have a problem with people in general. One upside is that the lanes are great to bowl on.

Comment Date: 3/4/2008 Name: Jay
Good Lanes but too many thugs and screaming 3 year olds running into your lane.

Comment Date: 12/20/2007 Name: Anonymous
sux... It's not that great place. The scoring screen are not good. No one can't view anything. Poor service. it's a big place, but not recommended.

i've beem bowling there for years and i really like this place. they have lanes on both sides of their facility whis is very rare considering i've been to numerous bowling alleys! kurt's pro shop which is located inside of Hudson Lanes is a great pro shop as well. he's drilled my bowling balls and i haven't had any complaints of any kind! and i'll also add that their prices are very good especially on weekends. i'm looking forward to joining a league there this year!

This place is cool, sum of the staff is very non-sociable. And I hate the fact that they do NOT host adult parties. I miss Roosevelt Lanes!!!!
