|This is the worst bowling center and pro shop I've ever been in. The staff is rude. They love to pack people in together just to not have to clean/maintain a few lanes. There is no bowling etiquette here. The pro shop man is lazy. I ordered a bowling ball a month ago...he never called, he's never open, and when I finally had time to meet his limited schedule, he couldn't drill the holes because "he didn't feel good". The manager allowed his daughter to run around like a wild animal bothering the bowling patrons, stepping into the lane, and creating a hazard. Do not waste your time on this place. It S*CKS to no end. |

|I used to go a lot for the youth leagues and later for highschool and teen state events.
Past tense. over the years the pricing went higher the employees looked and acted over worked. there is not much space between lanes so it feels like one big group is all bowling at once, unless you are lucky enough to come in when there are a lot less people, AKA once a quarter if you are lucky. the lanes feel "maintaned" as opposed to "taken care of", like the least amount care was given for upkeep.
the approches are pretty sticky, the computer is confusing and the last as well as "last if i can help it", time i went in the foul lines where triggering for no reason. the girl at the counter eventually had to turn them off for us. thew only "redeming" quality of the place is the pro shop is run well... at least when it is open which isn't often. at least the parking lot is big... and hidden...
In short look elsewhere for bowling.|

|Employees are treated like animals. No breaks (real breaks), Looonnng hours (in the upwards of 15*17hrs per day) with no appreciation. The best manager there is Sarah, she will help in any way possible. I have read the reviews on how the employees act... well I can tell you its from being OVER WORKED AND UNDER PAID!|

|When I come in Louisa greets me every time, no matter what day. She calls all the kids troublemakers or beautiful she luvs them. She is the day desk person. On sunday most times she is alone, the manager who comes in later is rude etc...................I will continue to come in if she is there. |

|When I bowled there the last time most of the pins had cracks and were very old looking.I also dont like having handicap in a no-tap tournament. It would be better to have 2 devisions.180 and above , 179 and below. It is too easy to manipulate handicap by bowling lousy a few weeks, showing up and then bowling 800 no tap scratch!|

|Hey, "Mr. Anonymous". I aggree with Mr. Amico. I shot a 300 in league play and was told by Brunswick staff that I would receive a jacket and plaque. As the months went on, I was told the jackets were being ordered when they had enough jackets to order, then told that they were back ordered, then told that the promotion was over and I wasn't getting a jacket. Being a businessman myself, this was not an appropriate reason, so I contacted the VP of operations at brunswick and had a nice discussion. Guess what, I just got my plaque and my jacket is on it's way. Mr. Amico, business is business, plain and simple. If your son was told he would receive a jacket, then go to Brunswick and demand it. If they give you the cold shoulder, do what I did and go right to the top!|

|You get rewarded a 300 jacket and your name on the honors board for bowling a 300 in league play. Was your son in league play Mr.Amico? Golden Pins can keep you. Brunswick Doesnt need you!|

|on 8 july 08 my son shot back to back 300 games at brunswick camino seco bowl and a 856 three game series. this was the third highest series ever shot in southern arizona and the highest series shot in arizon for 2008. now most bowling centers give a 100 dollar check to whoever rolls a 300 game. brunswick does not, however they said they give a jacket to anyone who rolls a 300., which is fine. my son received nothing from them not even a congratulations. an article in the local newspaper was written on him as well as several articles in the desert bowler. the local newspaper wanted to get pictures of him at the bowling center when he was presented the jacket, unfortunately brunswick camino seco never did a thing for him and i had to inform the paper that there would be no presentation as they were just talk. golden pin lanes did award my son a plaque just last week for his accomplishment even though it was not rolled at their house. not hard to tell which house has a class act and which one does not. thankyou golden pin lanes and poo to to you brunswick camino seco lanes. our teams will no longer be going back to brunswick for league play or for anything else, and you can betcha all the houses know what you did along with the bowlers and the newspaper.|

|brunswick is the best bowling alley in tucson ive been bowling there for 8 years and haven't had anything to complain about. Sarah is extremely friendly and helpful Tj, is always on top of things u spill something he's there in less than a minute. Games are $2 but if you have a reciept games are 99 cents. Shoes aren't that big of a deal you can buy your own and they'll pay for themselves. I'm pretty sure golden pins and bedroxx charge way more than $2 per game. I heard bedroxx charges $8 per game. Brunswick is always clean as well.|

|Where do i start?Camino seco is amazing. Its such a nice bowling place.I've been there for a couple of years now and it's great. Everyone there is nice especially Tj and Sarah. They're wonderful people. They do their job exactly the way its suppose to be and their always on top of everything. The birthday parties are great and set up perfectly.I don't understand why people complain. It's the best bowling alley in Tucson. The prices are right and the environment is perfect. The lock-ins are interesting too. When i went to them i was kind of scared on how they did it,but they set that up amazing.People say that some of the employees are "drugged out."Okay..haha They are not. Some smoke at times but not like drugs or anything.Everyone treats you like family. Nobody is ever treated bad there. It's a fun family environment.|

|Brunswick is an extremely easy bowling alley. They oil their lanes consistantly. I easily average 220 there and im 16. Employees are outgoing and easy to get along with. The bowling alley is spacious and the proshop owner Bob treats me as if i were his own kid. Derick is a great guy he can make any one laugh even if you're having a bad day.|

|i know for a fact that their employees aren't druggies. I will say that some smoke a cigarette on occasion but not weed, pot etc. If u were there you would be able to tell that no one there is on drugs. Brunswick is immaculate and drug free. Tucson bowl is horrible when i bowled there my lane broke down every other frame and it took about an hour to finish 1 game with 6 people bowling on it. Their lanes are never oiled and their chairs are broken(leaning forward). I give Brc 5 Stars|

|$3.00 rental for shoes that cost $10 bucks is business stupid! How do you think they keep the doors open at a $2.00 per game average.|
|Comment Date: 7/24/2008 Name: Anonymous|
|I can't believe that Brunswick charges $3.00 to rent a pair of shoes. They pay $10.00 a pair or less if they buy a large volume. UNBELIEVABLE|

|I've been bowling a long time, I know the prices have to go up to stay open. What I can't believe is Brunswick charges $3.00 to rent a $10.00 pair of shoes. That is unbelievable. They don't take pride in doing things to the best of there ability.
Last year I bowled in a league where the secretary got the recap sheets from the desk, week after week the recap sheets had the wrong handicap. The secretary blamed the house(they didn't know what ther where doing) the secretary gets paid but never made sure they where right either, she took them home and then made corrections. That is wrong on her part, she gets paid to fill out the recap sheets before the league starts not when she gets home. Then she didn't tell the teams that she made the correction.
If the secretary told the house they should take the time to make sure that the paper work is 100% correct.|

|Best Bowling alley I've ever been to!
They use the most up to date computers I've ever seen in a center, and the elevated seating behind the approach is great! The lanes were a little dry, but I did show up at 9:30 PM. (I'll go back during the day to try again!)
The chairs are a pain in the ass (literally) as you try to sit down, the spring mounted chairs swing back to their default position, and you have to be quick or you risk sitting on half a chair...
I give this center 9.5/10 !

|Camino Seco has been sending my son's mail to me for more than two years. Several attempts to remove my address from their mailing list have failed, even attempts with the mgr. They are aware that my son is in prison and for them to continually send me his mail is what I consider to be emotional harassment. How inconsiderate can this manager, can this company be?|

|I think everything is ok other than the fact that they never oil their lanes. As one customer was concerned, so was I.I used to be an avid customer but I moved on to Tucson Bowl you should check them out they are really organized and their lanes are great.|

|Ive been going to Brunswick Camino Seco Lanes for the past 4 years. Recently Ive been dissapointed with the service, and the team management have put together this past year. New faces(and not so new) have had me concerned. Ive witnessed "drugged out" employees. Ive even watched from the parking lot employees getting "high" on shift!!! I use to drop off my children to bowl on certain all nights, but I wont anymore. Ive written letters to management and have called the cops. My children and I really miss bowling at Camino Seco. I refuse to take them until this problem is resolved. I emplore other mothers to take a stand as well. You never know if your children will come into contact with these drugged out teens. I ask management, do you hire 'druggies' because they're cheap labor and will work for pennies to keep up their drug habit? I know a few of the employees by name they are as follows sarah alicia mike and craig. Ive chosen to leave my name anonymous for my childrens safety. |

|I started my 28 year lay off return to bowling last summer and now bowl at Camino Seco. I also bowl in the Vantage afternoon travel league. I have had the opportunity to compare a number of houses including Camino Seco. I have found that the scores in Camino Seco for me are generally lower and the lanes can be tougher to read than the other houses I have been bowling in. However, this is a part of bowling - the lanes are just more of a challenge and in a league everyone has the same challenge. The pin setters are clearly antiques and a few are slightly twisted off center. I have also found that a number of lanes have difficulty resetting after back to back strikes. It almost appears that they do not have enough pins in the machines. Yes, their scoring system is antique and very frustrating and difficult on some lanes to use properly - I am glad to hear that they are planning a change of the scoring system. I have found the desk / mechanic staff, as compared to the other houses I have been bowling in, to be very friendly, very helpful, and really trying to improve the place. The free games policy available to league bowlers is great and one reason I practice at Camino Seco. My theory is if you want to bowl better and improve your game, bowl at Camino Seco's tougher lane conditions.
Finally, I have a hamburger at each house before I bowl. While all are edible bowling lane food, I have found the bacon cheese burger at Santa Cruz lanes to be the best.|

|I've bowled at Brunswick Camino Seco since 1997 and have seen many changes there, most for the better. Recently, the short walls and ball holders between the concourse and approach were removed giving the establishment a much roomier feel. My son bowls from a wheelchair and these are the only lanes in Tucson without steps between the concourse and approach. The addition of a pizza oven a few years ago was a big plus. The breadsticks are scrumptious.
As for the lanes - the new synthetic lanes did take some adjustment for me. I'm not sure what another bowler is talking about when she says her bowling scores worsened on the new synthetic lanes. Once I learned the new lane conditions, I started bowling 200 games and 500 series routinely. This was not the case for me on the old lanes. Just before the lanes were replaced, all other aspects of the facility were really falling apart and it was very frustrating to bowl at BCS. The pinsetters are older and the scoring equipment is ancient, but the crew works hard at keeping them working well. The manager recently told me they expect to install a new scoring system in 2007.
As a Tucson area high school bowling coach I do get a chance to bowl at many of the Vantage Bowling Centers in Tucson. Brunswick Camino Seco Lanes are no better/no worse than any of the Vantage Bowling Centers. The only center in Tucson that I feel is a step above the rest is Golden Pins on Miracle Mile.

|At our bowling meeting they said that the lanes and equipment are working real well and that we should have a good year. Well let me tell you that the equipment is far from being even considered good as to compared to years ago. They are constantly something wrong Pins falling out on the lanes missing pins, lanes not able to function and having to move to the other side of the house. If you want to know more just ask why the Wensday night mens leauge that brought alot of money into the lanes after being there atleast since 1981 when I came to town and started to bowl there. They after years of treatining to leave did so at the end of last year. And as far as the lanes go there are alot of nights where you hardy hear of any (200) games(my best bowler said that some people don't have thier scores called into the desk and I said they still don't and that is why I say the lanes are so bad you can not even try to be regular. Years ago I had at least a 200 game and a 500 series up to the National Ladies tournament(when they changed the lanes to synthetic. I had just bowled (2) 600 series and after the tournament I couldn't even get a 200 or a 500 series. and the lanes have hard to read since. They have had alot of turnover of Managers since that time. Little wonder. There was a long time when the Latrine was down for monts and a few of the parking lights were out creating a high security problem and they were out for quite a few weeks. I guess that is enough to work on. Thanks for letting me vent.|
