I called the AMF Willow Bowl requesting help with my granddaughter's upcoming birthday party. I spoke with a young man named MIKE. He was immensely helpful and courteous. I was extremely impressed. Because of the treatment I received from MIKE I will be a repeat customer and highly recommend the center to family and friends. By the way, this was NOT the first Bowling Center I contacted, it was however, the first with such a friendly staff member.

The place is in poor condition. I joined a league and within five weeks on April 28, 2005 the league dues of $1000.00 was stolen by a couple of men who were inquiring about joining the league. The lanes are either too oily or very dry; it was also difficult to slide, the shoes would stick to the floor. The bar staff is very nice as well as the other employees.

WOW! I love Willow Bowl! The people are nice and friendly, and the food is terrific. I don't why anyone would post such negative comments on such a GREAT place!

I used to work in a bowling alley, and this place is a dump. The machines are in constant need of repair. The approaches are in such poor condition, it is nearly impossible to slide. My daughter and I bowled in a Sunday morning league, and they never reserved the lanes for our league. 9 out of 10 weeks, we had to bowl on whatever lanes were available and whatever time a lane came open. They do not turn on the foul lights for league play. They delayed the start of our summer league two weeks because there were not enough teams. We went from 7 to 4 teams due to that decision. Anyone can bowl in their so-called "classic" league, even double-digit average bowlers. During open bowling, there is no supervision of horseplay. Kids routinely run around, get in the way of other bowlers, throw balls at the racks, routinely bowl without the proper shoes. Some lanes have chronic problems that never seem to get fixed, and the place is filthy. Nobody makes sure the place is clean for the incoming league. Last week, we had to call them down (actually, we had to go get them because their intercom wasn't working)and have them scrape up some bubblegum off the floor. The week before we had to move to another set of lanes to bowl because there was some sort of sticky substance all over the approach. They almost never start the leagues on time, they have to be reminded. And on at least one occasion, they made everybody wait outside at opening because there was no cash in the cash register. Then someone pointed out that this wouldn't be a problem for folks who don't pay with cash, or that they could go ahead and bowl and by the time they're done, the cash would be here. THEN they opened the place up. The whole thing seems poorly run, dirty, and badly maintained.
